Flyingtype is my portfolio space. My name is Gretchen Caldwell Rinnert, and I am an interactive and motion graphics designer. I grew up in the midwest, and attended Ohio State University, recieving a bachelors degree in Visual Communication Design. After working in Columbus as a designer for 3 years I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend North Carolina State University's College of Design. In 2008 I graduated with a Master's in Graphic Design.
I now reside in Kent, Ohio where I'm an Assistant Professor at Kent State University, in the School of Visual Communication Design. I teach interactive media and motion design.
